The YORK® “Elite” Power Weight Bar boasts a minimum tensile strength of 185,000 PSI after heat treatment and is constructed from North American steel. This bar is designed to be less flexible and more rigid, making it ideal for static, highly controlled movements like squats, chest presses, and deadlifts. It’s also a great choice for Olympic lifting training. The sleeves are secured with a bar end nut and spring pin, and they are precisely machined to a 1.975” diameter to fit 2” Olympic plates.
