Description
Dips build chest, shoulders and triceps like almost nothing else. The catch? Most standalone dip stations eat the floor space your rack already paid for. Then they wobble.
The Y Dip Bar skips all that. This dip attachment slides onto your power rack uprights like a J-cup, locks in with a drop pin, and turns your rack into a dip station in seconds. With 400-500 LBS of capacity depending on your rack setup, you can strap on a dip belt and keep adding weight plates for years. Your triceps will file a complaint. Ignore it.
It's black powder-coated steel with a UHMW lining where it meets the rack, so it's gentle on your finish and extremely unwilling to wobble. Reviewers keep using the same two words: rock solid.
Chest Dips, Tricep Dips and Then Some
The Y-shaped arms give you a built-in grip range. Go narrow and upright for tricep dips, or wide and leaned forward for chest dips. Flip around for knee raises, leg lifts, neutral-grip pull-ups or inverted rows. It's the most versatile 20-ish lbs in your gym (sorry, kettlebells).
Pick the Version That Fits Your Rack
Each version fits ONE upright spec, so match it to your rack:
- 2.3" x 2.3" uprights, 5/8" holes: fits racks like our Residential Power Rack and Light Commercial Power Rack
- Hydra (true 3" x 3", 5/8" holes): fits Hydra power racks
- Manticore (true 3" x 3", 1" holes): fits Manticore power racks
It's rated 4.8 out of 5 and backed by a LIFETIME frame warranty. Pick your rack size above, and get dipping.
IMPORTANT: If your rack is not bolted to the ground or otherwise secured, you must use the Y Dip Attachment on the inside of your rack.
