Description

The great 19th century artist and designer William Morris once said, "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful." Whichford Pottery's lovely, handcrafted Willow Pot would have delighted him on both counts. Inspired by his 'Marigold' block-print wallpaper, it features a motif of Willow leaves encircling a central flower. The circular motion of the design beautifully suits the pot-bellied vessel. We recommend the use of larger bark mulch or a wire mesh screen to cover the drainage hole.

  • Made of terracotta
  • Measures 13½" wide x 10" tall
  • Weighs 14¼ lbs
  • One drainage hole
  • For outdoor or indoor use
  • Handcrafted in England
  • Holds approximately 15 quarts of soil, about ½ bag of our Fafard Container Mix

All Whichford pots have a 10-year frost-proof guarantee. In colder climates where they may be subject to freeze/thaw cycles, we recommend emptying and storing them indoors. If you choose to overwinter your pots outside, cover them and place in a protected area where they are not in contact with bare ground.
