Description
A lovely tradition in Wales had the ardent young suitor carving an intricately interwoven wooden spoon as a bethrothal gift for the potential fiance. If she accepted it, and they proceeded to marry, it would take a proud place above their hearth forever.
This design is based on one purchased in a client's grandparent's village in Wales.
