Warm Collected Gallery — Black, Walnut & Gold · 8 Frames

Eight frames in a collected, salon-style arrangement — black, walnut, mahogany and gold hung together the way a wall fills up over years rather than in an afternoon. The mix is the point: a wide black 16×20 anchors the top, a gold 12×18 holds the left, and the smaller frames step down and around them.

Because the finishes and sizes differ, this wall forgives imperfection. There is no grid to keep true and no symmetry to break — start with the two largest frames, then place the rest around them until the gaps look even by eye.

Note on the mix: seven of the eight frames come matted; the walnut 8.5×11 is unmatted and holds a full-size print. The mahogany frame carries a black and gold mat rather than a white one, which is what ties the warm woods to the black and gold elsewhere on the wall.
