Variegated Spiral Ginger (Costus arabicus ‘Variegatus’)

The bright and cheery foliage of Variegated Spiral Ginger is defined by its pronounced white and green leaf variegation. White flowers emerge from cone-like flower heads and carry a light pink blush and yellow throat. The blooms, which last a day or two, emerge one at a time over several weeks. This tropical Asian native was formerly known as Costus amazonicus. It lends its colorful beauty to a low light area of your home or patio.
