Description
TOUCH Cover Base Milk Shine
An elastic camouflage material combining structural strengthening with visual leveling of the nail. One layer creates a semi-transparent finish; two layers build a solid, opaque color. High adhesion minimizes lifting and provides resistance to damage, while the formula settles into an even surface with a gentle milky shimmer.
What Makes This Base Work
- Works as a standalone, single-tone coating
- Forms a durable, elastic surface
- Self-levels quickly, allowing thin-layer application
- Doesn't flow under the cuticle or into the side walls
- Milky tone with shimmer
- Semi-transparent density (slight see-through is expected)
- Medium acidity, pH 6-7
- Medium consistency
What It's Suited For
- Strengthening thin and weakened nails
- Evening out surface texture and masking defects in the nail plate
- A ready, finished color for express manicure services
How to Apply
- Shape the nail with a file and buff the surface
- Use a remover and carefully address the cuticle with clippers or manicure scissors, or perform a combined manicure with a drill
- Remove residual moisture and impurities with a degreaser
- Apply a primer or ultrabond before the base to improve adhesion to the natural nail plate
- Build a foundation layer of Rubber or Airy Base, cure in the lamp
- Apply the first layer, paying extra attention to the cuticle area and side parallels
- Cure in a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds
- Apply a second layer with minimal leveling, cure for 90 seconds

FAQ
Can I apply this base thickly for more color saturation?
The line is built for a thin technique — maximum thickness at the apex shouldn't exceed 1mm. For heavier defect masking, a denser material is recommended instead.
Can Milk Shine be used to mask uneven nail plate color?
Yes, it's well suited to soft visual masking — the milky tone makes nails look neater, though more significant defects are better covered with a denser material.
Does this base work well with layered nail art like rub-on chrome or foil?
Yes, it's a versatile foundation for complex art. The fine shimmer creates a dimensional background that complements details — suitable for baby boomer gradients, aquarium effects over slider decals, stamping, or as a standalone finish.
