TOUCH - Cover Base 01, 13ml

Where #02 adds a fine shimmer to its milky base and #03 shifts that same tone cooler, #01 keeps things plain — no shimmer, no undertone twist, just a soft, neutral milky color that lets the formula itself do the talking rather than any decorative finish.

That plainness has its own appeal. It's the shade to reach for when a client wants coverage and a soft, natural look without anything catching the light or shifting the temperature of the tone — the baseline the rest of the milky family (#02, #03) builds on top of.

The Formula Behind It

Cover Base runs the same across the whole line: an elastic, medium-thick consistency with excellent self-leveling properties, pigmented enough to completely change the nail's color once applied in two thin coats. Medium acid content sits around pH 6-7, and the formula hides imperfections in the natural nail plate while staying comfortable to work with on short to medium-length nails.

Getting It on the Nail

Standard prep comes first — file the surface with a 240-grit file or buffer, degrease, and apply a dehydrator. Primer or ultrabond goes on next with a semi-dry brush, kept off the skin and worked onto the nail tip without layering. From there, apply a thin or rubbing layer of an elastic base like Rubber or Airy Base, cure it, and remove the sticky layer before moving on. Apply Cover Base 01 in a thin layer, drawing carefully into the cuticle and side parallel areas with a fine brush, then level using the "wet floor" technique for a smooth, even finish.

One Question Worth Asking

Does Cover Base 01 have shimmer like #02? No — it's a plain milky tone without the shimmer found in #02, making it the simplest, most understated version of the milky family in this line.
