Torenia

Torenia fournieri, commonly known as wishbone flower, is a compact, shade-loving annual valued for its small, trumpet-shaped blooms with contrasting throats. Flowers appear in shades of purple, blue, pink, and white, providing continuous color in garden beds, borders, and containers. Its tidy, mounding habit makes it especially useful for brightening shaded areas in the landscape.

Care Needs:
• Light: Partial sun to full shade
• Water: Keep soil consistently moist but well-drained; do not allow to dry out completely
• Pruning: Minimal pruning needed; remove spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season for steady blooms
