Thunbergia

Thunbergia (Thunbergia spp.), including Blue Sky Vine and King’s Mantle, is a tropical ornamental known for its large, showy blue to purple flowers and fast, vigorous growth. Blue Sky Vine is a twining climber commonly used on trellises, fences, and arbors, while King’s Mantle grows as a dense, upright shrub. Both varieties add bold color and lush texture to warm-season landscapes and perform best in bright light with consistent moisture.

Care Needs:
• Light: Full sun to part sun
• Water: Moderate; water regularly, especially during establishment
• Pruning: Prune as needed to control size and shape; vines benefit from regular trimming
• Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertilizer during the growing season to encourage flowering
