Thiers Issard - Damascus Straight Razor, Round Point, 6/8" (Special Edition)

Damascus steel meets artisan craftsmanship in this special edition straight razor from Thiers Issard. Hand forged in Thiers, France from two similar hardened carbon steels - XC 130 and XC 100 - the blade develops the distinctive flowing patterns characteristic of true Damascus steel, while delivering an exceptionally sharp, hollow-ground edge.

The Compostella scene inlay handle sets this razor apart as a collector worthy piece, depicting the iconic pilgrimage route imagery that has made this edition a standout in the Thiers Issard special range. It is also available with a carbon fiber handle, selectable from the dropdown menu below.

Like all razors in the Thiers Issard Damascus range, this 6/8" blade arrives shave-ready and is presented in a special luxury soft calf leather pouch with a sliding closing tongue; a step above the standard black pouch found on everyday models.

Carbon Steel Care: After each use, thoroughly dry the blade and handle before storing - carbon steel will rust if stored with any moisture. For occasional use, lightly coat the blade with Vaseline to protect the edge between sessions.
