Sweet Corn Biotech Matriarch F1 Seed

Biotech sweet corn has been bioengineered to exhibit specific traits that are not found in conventional varieties, including resistance to insect pests and tolerance to specific formulations of herbicide. These traits result in plants with strong inherent protection to insect pests, particularly lepidoptera species, with reduced use of insecticides, as well as greater flexibility in weed management.

A bicolor supersweet with the benefits of Attribute®II pest protection and flexible herbicide tolerance, Matriarch is a standout. The 8" ears have a strong husk package with good tip cover and flags, and 20 rows of refined, high-quality kernels. Matriarch performs well at higher planting populations and carries intermediate resistance to Rust (Rp1-G, Rp1-D).

All orders require completion of the Attribute Sweet Corn Grower Agreement and a Grower License Number on file before shipment will be made. This product cannot be sold in Idaho, Oregon, or Washington.
