About Wheat Straw

Sustayne wheat straw products are made from approximately 30–40% wheat straw fiber blended with polypropylene (PP). This combination creates a durable material designed for hospitality use.

Wheat straw is an agricultural byproduct left after wheat harvest. Incorporating wheat straw fiber into these products provides another use for this agricultural material.

Important Disposal Note:
Because these products contain both plant fiber and polypropylene, they should be disposed of in regular waste. They are not suitable for recycling or composting programs.
