Stella Cherry Tree

Hot Pink Blossoms and Plump Cherries

Stella the Stellar Cherry
This early blooming, fast growing tree produces a stellar cherry. The Stella Cherry's flamboyant, hot pink blossoms are long lasting and give way to a profusion of deep reddish-purple cherries. By mid-summer, you’ll be picking more cherries than you can eat, so get ready to cook muffins, pies, and tarts. And when you still have cherries to spare, put up a batch of preserves for the winter and for holiday gifts from the kitchen.

Plant a Backyard Stella Cherry Tree
The Stella Cherry is at home in a small backyard. It’s self-pollinating, so it’s the perfect specimen tree for tight spaces. (If you need a second cherry tree for pollinating another variety, this is your tree.) It’s not fussy about soil, requiring only full to partial sunlight to thrive, and it doesn’t require pesticides. The tree is fast growing and begins producing cherries in just a few years.
