Star Trac 6 Series Upright Bike

The dead-phone problem

Keeping a phone charged shouldn't require a cable

Most upright bikes leave charging up to the rider, a dangling USB cord if there's a port at all, easy to forget and easier to lose track of mid-workout. On a bike that sees the same busy schedule day after day, that small gap adds up to a lot of members riding with a dying phone.

The Star Trac 6UB Upright Bike builds a wireless phone charger directly into the console, so devices stay powered without a cord to plug in or misplace. A natural upright riding position, 16 pop-pin seat positions, and elbow pads keep the ride comfortable, while an alternator drive system and ISIS bottom bracket pedal mounting deliver the smooth, durable resistance facilities expect from commercial-grade equipment.

One-sided platform pedals with removable straps make entry and exit quick between riders, an easy detail that matters more than it sounds like in a facility running the same bike all day.

Three consoles, one connected platform

Scale the technology without changing the bike underneath it

Every console tier connects to the same Bluetooth ecosystem for app pairing and workout tracking, and every one is designed to keep the bike current long after installation instead of aging out the day a newer model ships.

What dealers say

Built on a platform designed not to fall behind

"OpenHub isn't just a product, it's a commitment to future-proofing fitness technology, empowering users with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and screen mirroring, while providing gym operators with asset management and interactive app compatibility."

Authorized Star Trac Dealer

Star Trac's own 4UB Upright Bike offers 40 levels of manual resistance for less money, so it still wins on raw resistance range. The 6UB trades some of that range for the built-in wireless charger and OpenHub connected console platform, a fair swap for facilities that want members' devices charged and tracked without extra accessories. A basic budget upright bike might undercut both on price, but it typically skips the wireless charging, OTA updates, and commercial-grade ISIS bottom bracket entirely.
