Description

The cornflower blue at #126 in the SNS Pro Pink Book. Four ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel alone, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.

A blue like this one is a full-set color for a client who wants something other than pink or red. It pairs with the whites in the book for a two-tone, and the same code in lacquer keeps the toes matched.

Why this powder

  • Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #126 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
  • Nutri-Plus in the jar. We add vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and vitamin E and calcium to the GelStar gel.
  • Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
  • The cheapest way to own a code. The 0.5 oz GelStar gel is sold on its own.

How to apply #126

Prep is the same for every format: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.

  1. Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #126 powder, activator, file and buff, a second activator coat, top coat. No lamp.
  2. Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #126 GelStar and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
  3. Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #126 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.

Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.

Three bottles finish the dip service, base, activator and top coat, all under Dip Essentials. If you run the GelStar as a gel service, the gel base and gel top are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #126

Which board is #126 on?

Board 4, which runs #109 to #144. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Pink Book wall in one order. The full book of 144 codes is sold the same way.

Is this a dip powder or an acrylic powder?

Both. Over base it works as a dip overlay; with monomer it sculpts like an acrylic. One jar of #126 does either job.

How long does #126 last, and how does it come off?

Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.

Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Pink Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
