Description
Code #119 of the SNS Pro Green Book: a black cherry. This is a book whose powder needs no activator coat, and every code in it is sold three ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz powder, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three pieces matched to one shade.
This is the shade for a client who asks for red and does not want to talk about it further. It sits well next to a nude on a French-style accent set, and it is a safe pick for toes because the lacquer in the duo is the same code.
Why this powder
- Fewer steps. Two thin coats of base, two of powder, then file and top coat. No activator coat at any point, and no lamp for the dip.
- Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #119 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
- Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
- One formula for the five jobs. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal, with our Nutri-Plus vitamins and minerals in the base and the powder.

How to apply #119
Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.
- Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #119, tap, thin base, dip again. File, buff, top coat. There is no activator coat in this routine and nothing to cure.
- Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #119 gel, cure the gel top and wipe.
- Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #119 lacquer, left to air-dry.
To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.
Pair the powder with a base and a top coat from Dip Essentials, and the gel with a base and top from Base & Top Gel. No activator is needed with this book.

Questions about #119
Can I buy #119 as part of a set?
Yes. It sits on board 4 of the Green Book, codes #091 to #120, and the board is sold as one bundle in each format, 30 codes at a time. The full 120-code book is also sold as one bundle.
Can I sculpt with the #119 powder?
Yes. It is a dip and acrylic powder: dip it over base for an overlay, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it over a form like any acrylic. The same jar covers both services, which is why the format is named Dip/Acrylic.
How do I remove #119?
Acetone soak for the dip and the gel, ordinary remover for the lacquer. Wear is a few weeks for most clients, more or less depending on prep and what the hands do all day.
