Description
Code #106 of the SNS Pro Green Book: a cocoa brown. This is a book whose powder needs no activator coat, and every code in it is sold three ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz powder, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three pieces matched to one shade.
Browns and earth tones are fall and winter shades on most walls, and this one holds up well as a full set or as the dark half of a two-tone. It sits with the 19 nudes and browns on the Green Book card, so it is a natural step up from a nude for a client who wants more depth.
Why this powder
- No activator step. Base, powder, base, powder, file, top coat. The two activator coats of a standard dip service are gone, along with the smell at the table.
- One code, three formats. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #106 are built to one shade, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Our 5-in-1 formula. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and an easier soak-off removal in one powder, and our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder.

How to apply #106
Prep is the same for all three formats: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.
- Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #106 powder, then file, buff and top coat. This powder sets without an activator, so that step is simply left out. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #106 gel and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #106 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.
Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.
For the dip you need our base and top coat, both under Dip Essentials; there is no activator to buy. The gel base and gel top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #106
Can I buy #106 as part of a set?
Yes. It sits on board 4 of the Green Book, codes #091 to #120, and the board is sold as one bundle in each format, 30 codes at a time. The full 120-code book is also sold as one bundle.
How long does #106 last, and how does it come off?
Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.
Is #106 used with an activator?
It is not. This is one of the two SNS Pro books whose powder sets on its own over base, so the service is base, powder, base, powder, file and top coat. Mixing the activator routine from the other books into this one is where mistakes come from, so keep the two routines apart.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
