Description
The black at #104 in the SNS Pro Green Book. Three ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz dip and acrylic powder that needs no activator, the soak-off gel and air-dry lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.
A black is a full-set shade in winter, an accent nail all year, and the base for most nail art. The powder gives a deep, even black that a lacquer usually needs three coats to reach.
Why this powder
- Skip the activator. This powder sets on its own over base, so the service is two coats shorter than a standard dip and there is no activator bottle to buy or to spill.
- The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #104 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
- Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or sculpt it with monomer as an acrylic.
- Built as a system. We formulate the base and the powder with our Nutri-Plus system, which adds vitamins and minerals, and the powder combines bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal.

How to apply #104
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #104, tap off the excess, repeat once. File and buff, then top coat. No activator and no lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #104 gel, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #104 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
The dip needs a base and a top coat and nothing else: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #104
Can I buy #104 as part of a set?
Yes. It sits on board 4 of the Green Book, codes #091 to #120, and the board is sold as one bundle in each format, 30 codes at a time. The full 120-code book is also sold as one bundle.
How long does #104 last, and how does it come off?
Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.
Is #104 used with an activator?
It is not. This is one of the two SNS Pro books whose powder sets on its own over base, so the service is base, powder, base, powder, file and top coat. Mixing the activator routine from the other books into this one is where mistakes come from, so keep the two routines apart.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
