Description

Green Book #089 is a pale peach, one of the 120 codes in the SNS Pro Green Book, the dip and acrylic powder that sets without an activator. Pick the format on this listing: the powder alone, the matching gel and lacquer duo, or all three as a 3-in-1 set. The shade is the same in each.

A peach like this one is booked as a sheer-looking everyday color, and it pairs with the pale nudes in the Green Book for a soft French. The powder lays down more opaque than the lacquer, so check the swatch for the full-coverage look.

Why this powder

  • No activator step. Base, powder, base, powder, file, top coat. The two activator coats of a standard dip service are gone, along with the smell at the table.
  • One code, three formats. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #089 are built to one shade, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
  • Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
  • Our 5-in-1 formula. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and an easier soak-off removal in one powder, and our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder.

How to apply #089

Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.

  1. Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #089, tap, thin base, dip again. File, buff, top coat. There is no activator coat in this routine and nothing to cure.
  2. Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #089 gel, cure the gel top and wipe.
  3. Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #089 lacquer, left to air-dry.

To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.

For the dip you need our base and top coat, both under Dip Essentials; there is no activator to buy. The gel base and gel top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #089

Is the swatch photo accurate?

It is the best online reference, but a screen is not a nail. For a color decision, match #089 against the physical Green Book. Packaging styles vary by batch; the code and the shade are the same.

Do I need an activator with #089?

No. The powder in the Green Book sets without one. You dip over base, file, and go straight to top coat; the two activator coats of a standard dip service are left out. If your salon runs an activator routine on the 144-shade books, keep it for those and skip it here.

Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?

Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.

Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
