Description

Green Book #081 is a peach, one of the 120 codes in the SNS Pro Green Book, the dip and acrylic powder that sets without an activator. Pick the format on this listing: the powder alone, the matching gel and lacquer duo, or all three as a 3-in-1 set. The shade is the same in each.

Peach is the friendly neutral: warmer than a pink, softer than a coral, and it flatters most skin tones without disappearing. It is a strong everyday shade and an easy match for an ombre with one of the nudes in the Green Book.

Why this powder

  • Skip the activator. This powder sets on its own over base, so the service is two coats shorter than a standard dip and there is no activator bottle to buy or to spill.
  • The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #081 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
  • Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or sculpt it with monomer as an acrylic.
  • Built as a system. We formulate the base and the powder with our Nutri-Plus system, which adds vitamins and minerals, and the powder combines bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal.

How to apply #081

Prep is the same for all three formats: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.

  1. Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #081 powder, then file, buff and top coat. This powder sets without an activator, so that step is simply left out. No lamp.
  2. Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #081 gel and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
  3. Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #081 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.

Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.

The dip needs a base and a top coat and nothing else: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #081

Why does #081 look different on my screen?

Because screens shift color. The swatch photo above is the closest reference we can give online, and the physical Green Book is the one to use for a client decision. Packaging may vary by batch; the shade does not.

Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?

Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.

Can I sculpt with the #081 powder?

Yes. It is a dip and acrylic powder: dip it over base for an overlay, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it over a form like any acrylic. The same jar covers both services, which is why the format is named Dip/Acrylic.

Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
