Description

The cream at #080 in the SNS Pro Green Book. Three ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz dip and acrylic powder that needs no activator, the soak-off gel and air-dry lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.

Whites and creams do the French tips, the full-set summer whites and the base for nail art. This is the powder to reach for when a client wants a clean, opaque finish without streaks, and the lacquer in the duo does the same job on the toes.

Why this powder

  • Fewer steps. Two thin coats of base, two of powder, then file and top coat. No activator coat at any point, and no lamp for the dip.
  • Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #080 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
  • Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
  • One formula for the five jobs. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal, with our Nutri-Plus vitamins and minerals in the base and the powder.

How to apply #080

Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.

  1. Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #080, tap, thin base, dip again. File, buff, top coat. There is no activator coat in this routine and nothing to cure.
  2. Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #080 gel, cure the gel top and wipe.
  3. Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #080 lacquer, left to air-dry.

To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.

For the dip you need our base and top coat, both under Dip Essentials; there is no activator to buy. The gel base and gel top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #080

Is the swatch photo accurate?

It is the best online reference, but a screen is not a nail. For a color decision, match #080 against the physical Green Book. Packaging styles vary by batch; the code and the shade are the same.

How long does #080 last, and how does it come off?

Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.

Is #080 used with an activator?

It is not. This is one of the two SNS Pro books whose powder sets on its own over base, so the service is base, powder, base, powder, file and top coat. Mixing the activator routine from the other books into this one is where mistakes come from, so keep the two routines apart.

Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
