Description

Green Book #060 is a blue, one of the 120 codes in the SNS Pro Green Book, the dip and acrylic powder that sets without an activator. Pick the format on this listing: the powder alone, the matching gel and lacquer duo, or all three as a 3-in-1 set. The shade is the same in each.

Blues and teals are 21 of the 120 codes in the Green Book, so this shade has neighbours listed below. This one is a clear blue that reads the same on short and long nails.

Why this powder

  • Fewer steps. Two thin coats of base, two of powder, then file and top coat. No activator coat at any point, and no lamp for the dip.
  • Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #060 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
  • Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
  • One formula for the five jobs. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal, with our Nutri-Plus vitamins and minerals in the base and the powder.

How to apply #060

Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.

  1. Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #060, tap off the excess, repeat once. File and buff, then top coat. No activator and no lamp.
  2. Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #060 gel, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
  3. Lacquer. Two coats of the #060 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.

Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.

Pair the powder with a base and a top coat from Dip Essentials, and the gel with a base and top from Base & Top Gel. No activator is needed with this book.

Questions about #060

Which board is #060 on?

Board 2, which runs #031 to #060. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Green Book wall in one order. The full book of 120 codes is sold the same way.

Is #060 used with an activator?

It is not. This is one of the two SNS Pro books whose powder sets on its own over base, so the service is base, powder, base, powder, file and top coat. Mixing the activator routine from the other books into this one is where mistakes come from, so keep the two routines apart.

Will the gel and lacquer match the #060 powder?

That is what the code is for. We build all three pieces of #060 to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the powder on the hands and the lacquer on the toes read as one color. Match against the physical Green Book or the swatch photo above rather than a phone screen when the decision matters.

Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
