How to apply #055

Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.

1. Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #055, tap off the excess, repeat once. File and buff, then top coat. No activator and no lamp.
2. Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #055 gel, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
3. Lacquer. Two coats of the #055 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.

Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.

No. The powder in the Green Book sets without one. You dip over base, file, and go straight to top coat; the two activator coats of a standard dip service are left out. If your salon runs an activator routine on the 144-shade books, keep it for those and skip it here.
