Description
Code #046 of the SNS Pro Green Book: a light nude. This is a book whose powder needs no activator coat, and every code in it is sold three ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz powder, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three pieces matched to one shade.
A nude like this is the workhorse of a color wall: full sets, French bases, and the client who wants her nails to look like her nails, only better. The Green Book carries 19 nudes and browns, so compare the neighbours below to pick the undertone that suits the hand.
Why this powder
- No activator step. Base, powder, base, powder, file, top coat. The two activator coats of a standard dip service are gone, along with the smell at the table.
- One code, three formats. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #046 are built to one shade, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Our 5-in-1 formula. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and an easier soak-off removal in one powder, and our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder.

How to apply #046
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #046, tap off the excess, repeat once. File and buff, then top coat. No activator and no lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #046 gel, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #046 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
The dip needs a base and a top coat and nothing else: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #046
Is the swatch photo accurate?
It is the best online reference, but a screen is not a nail. For a color decision, match #046 against the physical Green Book. Packaging styles vary by batch; the code and the shade are the same.
Will the gel and lacquer match the #046 powder?
That is what the code is for. We build all three pieces of #046 to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the powder on the hands and the lacquer on the toes read as one color. Match against the physical Green Book or the swatch photo above rather than a phone screen when the decision matters.
Is this a dip powder or an acrylic powder?
Both. Over base it works as a dip overlay; with monomer it sculpts like an acrylic. One jar of #046 does either job.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
