Description
Green Book #025 is a gray glitter, one of the 120 codes in the SNS Pro Green Book, the dip and acrylic powder that sets without an activator. Pick the format on this listing: the powder alone, the matching gel and lacquer duo, or all three as a 3-in-1 set. The shade is the same in each.
One of the 8 glitter finishes in the Green Book. The sparkle is in the powder, so it stays through the whole wear rather than sitting on top. It is most often used as an accent nail on a cream set, or as a full set for the holidays.
Why this powder
- Skip the activator. This powder sets on its own over base, so the service is two coats shorter than a standard dip and there is no activator bottle to buy or to spill.
- The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #025 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
- Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or sculpt it with monomer as an acrylic.
- Built as a system. We formulate the base and the powder with our Nutri-Plus system, which adds vitamins and minerals, and the powder combines bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal.

How to apply #025
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #025, tap off the excess, repeat once. File and buff, then top coat. No activator and no lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #025 gel, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #025 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
Pair the powder with a base and a top coat from Dip Essentials, and the gel with a base and top from Base & Top Gel. No activator is needed with this book.

Questions about #025
How do I get a smooth surface on a glitter powder like #025?
Glitter powders carry the sparkle in the powder itself, so the surface is a little more textured than a cream before you file. Do the same rounds of base and powder, then file lightly, buff, and rely on the top coat to level the finish. Most techs use a glitter as an accent nail over a cream from the same family.
Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?
Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.
Can I sculpt with the #025 powder?
Yes. It is a dip and acrylic powder: dip it over base for an overlay, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it over a form like any acrylic. The same jar covers both services, which is why the format is named Dip/Acrylic.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
