Description
Green Book #005 is a mint green, one of the 120 codes in the SNS Pro Green Book, the dip and acrylic powder that sets without an activator. Pick the format on this listing: the powder alone, the matching gel and lacquer duo, or all three as a 3-in-1 set. The shade is the same in each.
A green like this is booked as a full set, as a St Patrick's Day accent, and as a partner for the whites and nudes in the Green Book.
Why this powder
- Fewer steps. Two thin coats of base, two of powder, then file and top coat. No activator coat at any point, and no lamp for the dip.
- Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #005 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
- Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
- One formula for the five jobs. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal, with our Nutri-Plus vitamins and minerals in the base and the powder.

How to apply #005
Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.
- Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #005, tap, thin base, dip again. File, buff, top coat. There is no activator coat in this routine and nothing to cure.
- Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #005 gel, cure the gel top and wipe.
- Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #005 lacquer, left to air-dry.
To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.
The dip needs a base and a top coat and nothing else: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #005
Which board is #005 on?
Board 1, which runs #001 to #030. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Green Book wall in one order. The full book of 120 codes is sold the same way.
How do I remove #005?
Acetone soak for the dip and the gel, ordinary remover for the lacquer. Wear is a few weeks for most clients, more or less depending on prep and what the hands do all day.
Do I need an activator with #005?
No. The powder in the Green Book sets without one. You dip over base, file, and go straight to top coat; the two activator coats of a standard dip service are left out. If your salon runs an activator routine on the 144-shade books, keep it for those and skip it here.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
