Description

#019 is a coral pink from the SNS Pro Burgundy Book. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, the GelStar gel cures under a lamp and the SNS Nail Lacquer air-dries, and all three are matched to this one shade. Choose the format above; the price is the same for every code in the book.

A pink like this is booked for everyday hands, for bridal parties and for the client who wants color without a statement. It is one of 35 pinks and mauves in the Burgundy Book, so compare it against the codes below before you commit a whole wall.

Why this powder

  • The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #019 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
  • Built as a system. Our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and the GelStar gel is formulated with vitamin E and calcium.
  • Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it as an acrylic.
  • Four ways to buy. Powder, gel only, duo or the 3-in-1, at the same price for every code in the book.

How to apply #019

Prep is the same for every format: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.

  1. Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #019 powder, activator, file and buff, a second activator coat, top coat. No lamp.
  2. Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #019 GelStar and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
  3. Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #019 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.

Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.

The dip needs a base, an activator and a top coat: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #019

Why does #019 look different on my screen?

Because screens shift color. The swatch photo above is the closest reference we can give online, and the physical Burgundy Book is the one to use for a client decision. Packaging may vary by batch; the shade does not.

How do I remove #019?

Acetone soak for the dip and the gel, ordinary remover for the lacquer. Wear is a few weeks for most clients, more or less depending on prep and what the hands do all day.

Do I need an activator with #019?

Yes. This is the standard SNS dip routine: base, powder, base, powder, then the Sealer Dry activator over the whole nail before you file, and a second coat before top coat. The activator is what sets the powder. The two no-activator books (Green and Yellow Green) skip it; the Burgundy Book does not.

Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Burgundy Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
