Description

The fuchsia at #036 in the SNS Pro Beige Book. Four ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel alone, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.

A pink like this is booked for everyday hands, for bridal parties and for the client who wants color without a statement. It is one of 45 pinks and mauves in the Beige Book, so compare it against the codes below before you commit a whole wall.

Why this powder

  • One code, three pieces. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #036 are built to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
  • Pre-bonded Gelous Color powder. The jar is our Nutri-Plus formula, and we formulate the base and the powder with vitamins and minerals, with vitamin E and calcium in the GelStar gel.
  • Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
  • Buy only what you use. The gel is sold alone, so a gel salon can carry the whole book without the powder.

How to apply #036

Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.

  1. Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #036, tap, thin base, dip again. Activator, file, buff, activator again, top coat. Nothing to cure.
  2. Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #036 GelStar, cure the gel top and wipe.
  3. Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #036 lacquer, left to air-dry.

To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.

For the dip you need our base, the Sealer Dry activator and a top coat, all under Dip Essentials. The gel base and gel top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #036

Is the swatch photo accurate?

It is the best online reference, but a screen is not a nail. For a color decision, match #036 against the physical Beige Book. Packaging styles vary by batch; the code and the shade are the same.

How long does #036 last, and how does it come off?

Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.

Which liquids go with #036?

The SNS dip essentials: EA Bond on the bare plate, Gel Base for each dip, Sealer Dry as the activator, and Gel Top to finish. They are the same bottles for every code in the Beige Book, and they sit in the complementary products on this page and under Dip Essentials.

Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Beige Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
