• Handcrafted Quality: Rattan reed handwoven over a solid wood bottom with a wrapped rim, a two-piece wood lid hinged at the center on leather straps, and one fixed bent wood handle that stays upright, by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border, and signed by the weaver who made it.
• The Size For Two: 15 x 10 1/2 inches at the rim, 7 inches deep, and 12 1/2 inches to the top of the handle: lunch for two with room for the tableware, a wine and cheese picnic, a child's first basket, or the knitting by the chair. It rides on a car seat.
• The Hinged Lid: A two-piece wood lid hinged at the center on leather straps, so either half lifts while the other stays down and the basket opens from whichever side you are sitting on.
