The lathe-turned handle is filled with carefully selected, hand-tied Pure Badger hair. The dark and silver tones of the knot reflect its above-average standard and exceptional purity.

Scotsman Alexander Simpson began producing shaving brushes and grooming accessories in 1919 and is widely regarded as a pioneer in the industry. Originally based in East London and later Clapham, production moved to the West Country’s Nimmer Mill after the original factory was destroyed in the Blitz. Today, Simpson shaving brushes are manufactured by Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Limited on the historic Isle of Man, continuing the tradition of hand-tied knots crafted by skilled artisans.
