Silver Ceremony is a Citrus, Woody, earthy scent created for Men and Women in 2026 by perfumer Jordi Fernandez.

Review

This scent opens with a blast of citrus essences of Bergamot, Green Mandarin and Lemon, with touches of Ginger and Pink Peppercorn adding a sparkly zing. A Citrus Oud Accord brings depth, but also adds to the lasting power of the citruses. Labdanum and Patchouli help to add to the earthy depth, and Cedarwood, while adding to the woodiness, also adds a crisp element that further helps the citrus tones last until the finish of the scent. Even after being on the skin for a while, and surrounded by woods and earth notes, the citrus notes feel like they never stop sparkling. The citrus notes do mellow over time, but never seem to go away. It’s an interesting blend, somehow bringing both an energy and a grounding to the senses. The citrus elements seem to accurately represent the aroma of a piece of a Mandarin Orange that has been pulled from the rind without breaking the ultra thin skin that holds the juices in. It conjures the image of sitting on a wood deck while eating a Mandarin or a Satsuma. It feels comforting, but also refined and upscale. Over time, it does develop a gentle metallic lean, but to a degree where some will smell only the citrus elements and some will sense something metallic. While this scent is very citrus forward, there is also a smooth, velvety essence that comes from the warmth of the dry down. Its warmth makes it perfect for Fall, Winter and Spring weather, and it has a casual meets elegant vibe to it that makes it wearable for pretty much any time, place or occasion you desire to wear it to, including the office. With its depth and Absolu concentration it will last on the skin. It has been compared to the Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim Extrait DNA.

Inspiration

Silver Ceremony takes inspiration from the fashion industry, and the designers who play with metallic elements in their collections, as well as sequins to evoke illumination and the movement of light. The perfumer played with citrus elements to portray the shimmer of light on Haute Couture pieces.

Notes

This scent opens with a bright and sparkling blend of Bergamot, Green Mandarin and Lemon. Ginger and Pink Peppercorn come in at the heart intensifying the brightness of the citrus notes by adding their own sparkly and zingy qualities. A Citrus Oud Accord further adds to the brightness and lasting power of the citrus elements, while bringing a warm woodiness to the composition. The depth intensifies with the help of Patchouli, grassy Cypriol and Leathery Labdanum, with a final note of Cedarwood adding to the earthy, woodiness, but also adding its own natural crisp freshness, which even further helps along the brightness of the opening to last until the finish of the scent.
