About This Style

Vintage rugs are defined by their aged aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash colour variations, and distressed surface treatments. These pieces frequently reference the mid-20th-century Anatolian hand-weaving tradition, where textiles were produced in small village workshops using regional motifs. Floral-style vintage rugs specifically showcase botanical patterns such as blossoms, vines, and leaves, reflecting both traditional Ottoman design influences and 20th-century artisanal variations.

Where It Works

The flatweave construction allows this rug to lie flush against the floor, making it highly suitable for high-traffic areas such as hallways, kitchens, and dining spaces. Its thin profile is ideal for layering over larger carpets or placement over underfloor heating systems.

Why Choose This Rug?

• — Constructed from a cotton and polyester blend, providing both natural breathability and modern moisture resistance.
• — The flatwoven construction ensures a no-pile surface that is easy to maintain and does not shed.
• — These rugs reference the Anatolian hand-weaving tradition; each piece is one-of-a-kind, with minor variations in colour and pattern that are characteristic of vintage-style production.
• — Highly durable for high-traffic use and compatible with underfloor heating systems due to the reversible weave.
