• The Shasta Cranberry Fig produces a beautiful fig with thin velvety skin and a bright red interior. 
• Tart flavor- reminiscent of cranberries.
• Found by "The Fig Hunter", David Burke, on a hillside that was devastated by a fire in Shasta County. 
• Reported to be a prolific producer, with the mother tree producing edible fruit as late as November in Northern California
  
• Also known as TFH 547 
• This is a new introduction that is still being evaluated to confirm if it is a "common" fig.  It is unknown currently if it is self-pollinating or requires wasp pollination.
• Grown from rooted cuttings.
• Provide full sun, regular feedings, and good drainage to keep the tree happy and productive.  
• Requires well-drained soil mix if grown in a pot.
