Scabiosa

Scabiosa spp., commonly known as pincushion flower, is a compact, mounding annual or perennial valued for its rounded, pin-cushion-like blooms in shades of blue, purple, pink, and white. Its long-lasting flowers attract pollinators such as butterflies and bees, making it ideal for borders, garden beds, and container plantings that benefit from continuous seasonal color.

Care Needs:
• Light: Full sun
• Water: Water regularly until established; once established, allow soil to dry slightly between waterings
• Pruning: Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional blooms and maintain tidy habit
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to promote steady flowering
