Sandstone Fade - Washable Rug - JRN1055

This beige and brown distressed abstract washable rug features a refined design for functional home environments.

About This Style

Abstract rugs are defined by non-representational designs using irregular forms, painterly strokes, or fluid shapes, eschewing repeating geometric units in favour of artistic expression rooted in 20th-century abstract art movements. Distressed rugs utilise surface treatments that mimic age and wear, such as abrash colour variation, selectively faded zones, or erased pile areas that reveal the base structure of the textile. Together, these styles create a visual language that prioritises texture and composition over traditional motifs.

Where It Works

The flatwoven construction allows this rug to lie flat against the floor, making it suitable for high-traffic areas such as hallways, kitchens, and entryways. Its profile is also compatible with underfloor heating systems and allows for seamless layering.
