Ruby Ridge Japanese Maple

A compact red Japanese maple with a rounded habit and a fall finish in ruby red and burgundy

FEATURES:

• Deep ruby-red foliage that brings strong color contrast through the growing season
• Compact, rounded habit ideal for patios, courtyards, and smaller foundation beds
• Dense branching that keeps the canopy full and structured without heavy pruning
• Excellent focal tree for entry gardens and layered beds
• Performs well in part shade to help maintain rich leaf color and reduce scorch
• Fall color in ruby red and burgundy tones for a bold seasonal finish
• Hand Selected; Fresh from the Grower
• Ships on our trucks because the size of the tree - does not fit in a box.

Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip:

Use one red focal tree per “scene.” Give it a quiet backdrop, deep green, charcoal stone, simple groundcover, and it will read refined instead of busy. If you want extra polish, repeat the red tone once at ground level with a burgundy-leaf perennial or shrub, then stop there.
