About This Style

Vintage rugs are designed to evoke an antique aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash-like colour variations, or worn-look surface treatments. These pieces reference the mid-20th-century Anatolian hand-weaving tradition, where items were produced in village workshops using regional motifs. Floral vintage rugs specifically utilise botanical forms, such as blossoms and vines, ranging from dense all-over fields to mid-century repeats that reflect historical Ottoman design vocabulary.

Where It Works

The flatweave construction makes this rug suitable for high-traffic areas such as hallways, entryways, and kitchens. Its low profile is compatible with underfloor heating and allows for layering over larger carpets, providing a practical solution for active living spaces.
