Rosaleen Celtic Tattoo Design

The symbol of the Dark Rosaleen, standing for the suffering hearts of the women of Ireland, as in this immortal poem written by James Clarence Mangan in 1926:
"O MY Dark Rosaleen, _
__Do not sigh, do not weep!...
Ere you shall fade, ere you shall die, _
__My Dark Rosaleen! _
_ __My own Rosaleen! _
The Judgement Hour must first be nigh, _
Ere you can fade, ere you can die, _
__My Dark Rosaleen!
