Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip:

Give Rocky Mountain Glow Maple full sun for the best fall color and strongest growth. Water regularly during the first couple of seasons to establish a deep root system, then shift to deep watering during extended dry spells. Mulch the root zone to conserve moisture and keep soil temperatures stable, keeping mulch away from the trunk. Prune lightly in late winter to maintain a strong structure and remove crossing branches. This is a great tree for landscapes that need shade and color, with fewer demands once it is settled in.
