This Amish handmade tissue box topper basket is the perfect way to dress up a tissue box. This woven tissues box basket is hand woven to neatly hold standard size tissue boxes, and it is sized for the flat box that measures 9 inches by 5 inches by 3 3/4 inches tall. The inside stands about 3 5/8 inches, sized for the everyday flat box, and tissues from a tall box can be lifted out of the cardboard and set straight into the basket. The box goes in from the top: unsnap the leather strap at the front, lift the wood lid, which is hinged at the back on leather tabs, set the box in and close it again. The tissues come up through a slot cut in the solid wood lid. If you would rather have a plain lid with no slot, or a cover woven taller for a box you already buy, write it in the order notes at checkout and the family will weave it that way.
