Description
Quinault is a traditional everbearing strawberry valued for soft, sweet fruit that is especially well suited to fresh eating and home gardens. Everbearing strawberries generally produce a substantial late-spring or early-summer crop and another in fall, with lighter fruiting between.
Why Grow Quinault Strawberries?
- Everbearing habit: Two main harvest periods under suitable conditions.
- Fruit: Large, soft, sweet berries best enjoyed fresh or processed soon after picking.
- Adaptability: Recommended for USDA Zones 4–9.
- Plant form: Shipped as dormant bare-root strawberry plants.
Planting and Care
Choose a full-sun site with fertile, well-drained soil. Plant with the crown at soil level and roots spread downward. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain even moisture without waterlogging the soil. Space plants about 12–18 inches apart and provide good air circulation.
What You Receive
Select an approximate bundle of 25 plants or a box of 1,500 plants. Bare-root plants may arrive dormant and leafless; this is expected. Plant promptly after arrival.
