Purple Snap Peas - Sugar Magnolia

Stunning violet-purple 3 to 4 inch crunchy-sweet pods are as delicious as they are beautiful! Easy to find among vigorous 6- to 7-foot tall vines, the peas are preceded by showy bicolored purple-pink blossoms over a long season. For maximum sweetness and flavor, harvest when peas are plump, but before they get too fat. Enjoy their melt-in-your mouth sweetness straight from the garden or sauté briefly to maintain their striking color. These productive vines have good heat tolerance for a long, bountiful harvest.

(Resistant to pea leaf roll and powdery mildew)
