Description
Kratos offers growers a large handled pumpkin, with intermediate resistance to powdery mildew that matures 2 weeks earlier than most of our other large fruited varieties. Strong vines with a semi-vine growth habit produce 20-30 lb. fruit that have a flat-round shape, medium ribbing and large, firmly attached handles. The fruit have a medium-dark orange color. Good yield potential has been noted on Kratos in our test plots.

This large hybrid pumpkin seed helps growers produce pumpkins for early-season sales when fall decorating demand begins and supply is limited. Pumpkin Kratos F1 plants produce carving pumpkins with sturdy handles that can hold up well to customer handling at farm stands and roadside markets. The compact growth habit allows for higher plant density, helping increase yield potential per acre compared to traditional vining types. Disease resistance helps maintain healthy foliage through the harvest season, supporting crop quality for seasonal merchandising and high-volume fall sales.
