Lawn Disease Management
A strong lawn disease management program should incorporate fungicides with different modes of action. Yard Mastery’s “bulletproof strategy” pairs Propiconazole with Azoxystrobin, which contains a different active ingredient and mode of action.
Propiconazole is particularly useful for dollar spot and can also support brown patch and large patch management when used as part of a labeled fungicide rotation or program. For brown patch and large patch, Propiconazole may work best when used with Azoxystrobin according to the product labels and recommended application schedule.
Rotating fungicides with different modes of action can help reduce the risk of fungicide resistance. Always read and follow both product labels before combining, rotating, or tank mixing fungicides.
