Prizehead Lettuce (Lactuca sativa)

Dating back to the 1800s, Prizehead is celebrated for its crinkly, colorful leaves and sweet flavor. This fast-growing, loose-leaf variety is a terrific choice for early spring. Lovely as a filler in containers. Grows well in shadier areas.
