Description
A delicate Plantago major, botanical study for an herbal enthusiast. It is a European native and was one of the first plants brought to the new world by colonists. It was known to Native American peoples as "White Man's Footprint" because it grew around settlements. Also known as plantain, its leaves were used commonly in folk medicine for skin poultices on wounds, sores, or insect stings.
