Ping Tung Long Eggplant

65 days. Whether you're looking for a pickling or just a good, all-around eggplant, this variety is an excellent choice. The glossy-skinned, bright purple eggplants are prime at 9 inches long and 1-2 inches wide. Vigorous plants provide early and steady production of the slightly curved fruit with a sweet, never bitter flavor.
