About This Style

Vintage rugs are designed to evoke an antique aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash-like colour variation, and worn-look surface treatments. These pieces reference the broader tradition of mid-20th-century Anatolian hand-weaving, where items were produced in small village workshops using regional motifs. Floral vintage rugs incorporate botanical forms, such as blossoms and vines, reflecting both traditional Ottoman design vocabulary and 20th-century regional variations.

Where It Works

The flatwoven construction allows this rug to lie flat against the floor, making it highly functional for high-traffic areas such as hallways, kitchens, and living rooms. Its profile is suitable for use over underfloor heating and facilitates easy layering under other rugs.
