Pepper Trident F1 Seed

Trident is an adaptable, high yielding Ancho pepper that produces extra-large fruits, 3½”W x 6½-7”L. Trident pepper seeds result in fruit that is tapering, firm, and somewhat flattened. Trident ripens from dark green to red and the fruit has the ability to maintain size and quality across multiple harvests. These peppers can withstand various soils and climates and are well-adapted for long-cycle production. Trident also has high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus. The plant's fruit take 80 days to ripen fully, but growers can still harvest them when they are dark green, about 65 days from germination.

Trident poblano peppers are mildly hot with a heat measuring that ranges from 250 to 1500 Scoville heat units. They are commonly grown for edible reasons and are ideal for canning, using in chilis and drying. The peppers have a good dry-weight ratio, making them suitable for markets and roadside stands.
